Coach Carissa

I believe life was meant to be LIVED & age only measures time if we want it to.

Throughout my years of climbing and outdoor adventuring, I have been continuously reminded how important the outdoors are for the body and soul. Being in the outdoors has healed me in many ways, but it has also taken its toll on my body. In the process of healing from several injuries over the years, including several surgeries, I discovered that the worlds of physical therapy, mobility training, and strength training provided the missing puzzle pieces I needed to continue to pursue mountain adventures sustainably.

I wanted to become the person that I needed when I began climbing more avidly; a mentor & coach. Over the last 14years, I have been teaching and sharing my love of playing outside. I became a Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Personal Trainer, AMGA Single Pitch Instructor, and got my B.A. in Outdoor Discipleship. I combined these passions to serve the outdoor community by providing training that is approachable, sustainable, and empowering.

Now, I am based out of Bozeman, MT and enjoying all of the amazing things this area has to offer. Hiking, climbing rock and ice, skiing, and paddle boarding are just a few of my favorite ways to get outside with my husband and friends.
